You’ve done it again!! AIDS Walk Weekend was a resounding success. This work is built step by step, mile after mile, year after year, and we wouldn’t be able to do it without you. You continue to show up for this incredible organization in every way imaginable, and we are forever grateful.

The Maine AIDS Walk raised $160,000 for the Frannie Peabody Center to prevent HIV/AIDS and support people with the disease.

So many people, places and friends to thank. We have a lot of rainy supplies to sort through but in the meantime: we are so grateful to a loving crowd of 200 near and far, and over 500 donors who helped us cruise past our goal to more than $160,000 for HIV services in Maine. You are helping us sustain critical healthcare services and basic needs for people affected by HIV/AIDS in Maine. Today you honored 40 years of Frannie Peabody Center and 45 years of fighting for an end to the epidemic. There are a lot of battles still to fight, and we thank you for being by our side every step of the way. ❤️

As we get closer to walk day on Ogunquit Beach, let’s remember we’re sharing this space with endangered piping plovers 🐦💙

These tiny shorebirds nest directly in the sand during spring and summer, and their eggs and chicks are very hard to see. Please stay out of marked areas, follow beach signage, and tread lightly so we can protect this special species.
