Portlanders agree, now is the time for Real Police Accountability.

"Voters overwhelmingly supported a police reform measure in Tuesday’s election that will amend the City of Portland’s charter to create a new, independent community police oversight board. Multnomah County reported 82% of voters were in support of Measure 26-217."

Portland City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty has been pushing for police reform and accountability for decades. She’s been the driving force to get Measure 26-217 on the ballot.
