A repeat thief who targeted small stores including Plaid Pantry is on his way to prison. Timothy Jones agreed to more than six years in prison. He would often go behind the counter at Plaid Pantry and other stores and load up bags full of ci******es. Now he's locked up. The DA's office is working hard to protect small businesses.

Vonnon Arman Wentworth is going to prison after pleading guilty to Burglary, involving the video you see here- and an earlier case from 2023. In that case he punched a woman and pointed a gun at a man. The DA's Office takes these cases seriously. Thank you to the victims and witnesses who helped out. Formal sentencing is August 24th. The defendant has agreed to 4-years in prison.

Nickolas Edwards pleaded guilty to stealing multiple cargo trailers around the greater Portland area. Now he's heading to prison thanks to the efforts of law enforcement and the DA's Office investigator.

He terrified several communities over the course of 90 minutes in 2025. Now this Portland area man is going to prison for 20 years.

This shooting in Gresham on August 1st led to significant charges against the main shooter.

Gresham Police released this video.

The DA’s Office secured a 14 count indictment against the 19-year-old in the red hoodie and will prosecute this case to the fullest extent of the law.

Yesterday MCDA prosecutors secured a life prison sentence for the murder of Adrian Richardson on a TriMet bus in 2021. 51-year old Wayne Conrad Thompson shot Richardson because he was being disruptive on the bus. Thompson will get a possible chance at parole after serving 25 years. "If you commit crime on TriMet you will be caught and you will be prosecuted," said District Attorney Nathan Vasquez.

Youth violence in Multnomah County is something we need to come to terms with and find better solutions for....according to DA Nathan Vasquez. The remarks come after an 18-year-old was shot and killed last weekend.

Elliott Mejia- convicted drug dealer is sentenced to 90 months prison for selling drugs near 122nd and Burnside and other locations in Portland. He's off the streets for a while now.
