We're the Northwest District Neighborhood Association, the city-recognized organization that represents the Northwest District in Portland, Oregon. Our Board Members are all volunteers whose mission is to advocate for the interests of residents and businesses in the Northwest District. It is our honor and privilege to work on behalf of our neighbors and friends to uphold the quality of life and ch

aracter of our beloved district. The NWDA is open to residents, representatives of businesses, and property owners in the Northwest Neighborhood. All are welcome to attend Board Meetings and Subcommittee Meetings.

Do you live in NW Portland neighborhood? Are you concerned about air quality? Are you interested in possibly volunteering to host an air monitor?

Please come to this neighborhood meeting to hear about the air monitoring work being conducted by a team of researchers led by Dr. Linda George from PSU's Department of Environmental Sciences. (click on video to right to hear more about the overall project)

Dr. George has already been studying diesel emissions in the neighborhood and will be launching a new metals monitoring study next month.

City Council voted today to approve the proposed Slabtown Square, despite that it violates the Con-way Masterplan. As the NWDA testified, the design resembles a private development with a courtyard, rather than an inviting public square.

Everyone is invited! Come prepared to share your ideas for summer concerts and other activities in our Northwest Portland neighborhood parks and meet our volunteer committee members.

If you've been thinking about volunteering with us, or just want to know more about the summer concerts program, this is the event for you. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

The 2017 summer concerts were produced by a volunteer committee under the umbrella of the Northwest District Association (NWDA), and sponsored by the following neighborhood businesses as well as individual donations from neighbors:
