Last Friday at the Day Center was something truly special ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸชดOur Friday Nursing students coordinated a meaningful Transplant Day, and part of that work is already growing, literally!. We are excited to share photos of the plants they started in the garden, a beautiful symbol of care, patience, and new beginnings.
This project wasnโ€™t just planting, it was about connection, learning, and nurturing both the space and our community. Weโ€™re so grateful for the studentsโ€™ hard work and heart.
Stay tuned as we watch the garden grow!

At the Day Center, daily meals is a great time to come together and build connections with one another. Itโ€™s more than just food. Its a chance to laugh and strengthen our sense of community. Last week, we also had a special treat from our Wednesday nursing students, who made fresh smoothies for everyone. Their kindness and effort make our days special, and the smoothies were a big hint!
Thank you everyone who helps make the Day Center such a welcoming and caring place each day ๐Ÿ’™

Our Friday nursing students had a wonderful time back to our clients ๐Ÿฉบ
They offered relaxing and essential foot care services, helping promote comfort and overall wellness. The day also included a calming Tai Chi session, encouraging balance, movement and mindfulness for everyone who joined.
We so proud of our students for their compassion, professionalism and dedication to holistic care.

Our clients had an amazing field trip to Fort Vancouver today.
They explored history firsthand, walked through the grounds, and experienced what life was like in the past. It was a day full of curiosity, learning, and fun.
A big thank you to our Operations Assistant, Josh,(in red jacket) for accompanying the group and helping make these field trips run smoothly.

Fact check:
People living with HIV who have access to treatment and achieve an undetectable viral load cannot pass HIV through s*x. This is known as U=U ( Undetectable = Untrabnsmittable) a powerful, science backed up truth that helps reduce stigma and save lives.
With consistent care and medication, people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives and protect their partners at the same time.
Letโ€™s fight misinformation and support our community with compassion and facts.

Different infections need different protection. ๐Ÿง โœจ
DoxyPEP helps prevent bacterial STIs โ€” like gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis โ€” but not HIV. For HIV prevention, PrEP (before exposure) and PEP (after exposure) are your best tools.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Talk to your healthcare provider to find the right prevention combo for you.
