"Most victims were women and children, and of the women, more than 80 percent were killed by their husband or boyfriend."

We were just discussing this bill in the Oregon Women's Equity Coalition member meeting this morning - the impact is huge. Women and children of all genders, have experienced a disproportionate amount of negative impact due to gun violence and any lacking policy around gun safety.

Members of the Oregon House of Representatives passed legislation Thursday that would expand the number of people banned from owning guns because of domestic violence or stalking convictions.
