Punk Rock Pride hits Saturday, June 20, and proceeds will benefit Outside In! Hosted by Not A Phase at multiple venues Saturday, the event features all-ages q***r punk bands at Performance Works, a drag brunch, and a range of vendors on SE Foster Road. It runs 3:00–10:30 pm. 🎸

We couldn't resist sharing another round of applause for Haven Wheelock and her award by Outside the Frame at its "We Could Be Heroes" event Thursday, celebrating 10 years of innovative filmmaking by youth who also often participate with Outside In programs. "It is such an honor that they are shouting me out on the anniversary of a decade of great work!" Haven said. OTF Executive Director Nili Yosha welcomed the nearly 400 people packing Hollywood Theatre, and OTF Board President John Duke, a former OI clinic director, presented the harm reduction superhero award. Congratulations, Haven, for continuing to conduct, and inspire, lifesaving work!

Celebrate 10 years of inspiring filmmaking by youth experiencing homelessness—our most underestimated citizens. This evening showcases new films and archival treasures, and features new friends, alumni, and a lifetime achievement award.

We love when creativity and Outside In stick together! Thank you to Mandi Vernoy of Brine and Bard Designs for donating stickers and a portion of proceeds from their Pride merchandise, which includes labels, keychains, and other items. “There came a moment in my journey when I realized I wanted to give back to Outside In,” says Theresa O’Leary, program participant and Board Member.
