This last weekend we had our annual mock search training in the gorge. 56 people, across 9 teams, covering every major trail and many user trails between Angels Rest and Bell Creek. 782 trail miles hiked in 15 hours. No major washouts or damaged bridges to report from last week's storm. We did have a team spot a cougar near the trail around the 419/420/420c trail junction at around 11PM. Make sure to check trail conditions before going on a hike, and be prepared for weather conditions. Stay safe out there!
