Portland, Oregon — March 16, 2026 — The Academy of Applied Narratology formally announces its incorporation as a domestic nonprofit public benefit corporation. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, the institution operates as an independent think tank dedicated exclusively to scientific, literary, and educational purposes.
The Academy serves as a private center for social sciences research and global licensing. Our primary objective is the development of post-graduate instructional frameworks in applied narratology. By decoding complex socio-political dynamics and historical texts into our proprietary formats (The Academy Codices), we provide structured, evidence-based resources designed for professional certification, academic credit, and advanced executive training.
Our research and educational activities are strictly governed by a commitment to objective, fact-based inquiry and the principles of comparative analysis. The Academy aims to equip academic institutions, corporate sectors, and government bodies with the analytical tools required for strategic foresight and structural assessment.
Under the governance of its Founders—Prof. Daria Agoeva (Board President & CEO) and Prof. Vasiliy Shaganov (Board Secretary & CFO)—the Academy has officially commenced its operational activities.
Information regarding our ongoing research, publishing schedule, and institutional programs will be made available through our official communication channels.
