Wildfire smoke and extreme heat can affect everyone's health. If you need free N95 or KN95 masks, respirators, or other smoke relief supplies in the Portland metro area, here are a few places to start:

📞 Call 211info or visit 211info.org online. 211 Info can help you find:

• Wildfire smoke information and available resources
• Clean air shelters and cooling centers
• Transportation options (including TriMet when available)
• Other emergency resources during wildfire events

🏥 Contact your local county health department

📚 Check with your local library! Many libraries can let you know if masks are available or direct you to a nearby distribution site.

🤝 Reach out to community organizations, including faith-based organizations.

A little preparation can go a long way. Share this post to help others know where to find smoke relief resources during wildfire season. Thank you!

⚠️ Wildfire Safety Update – Level 1 "Be Ready" Alert

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has issued a Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuation alert for the Mount Hood corridor because of the Grasshopper Fire. This includes:

📍 Rhododendron
📍 Government Camp
📍 Nearby areas in the Mount Hood National Forest

What does Level 1 mean?
✅ Stay informed.
✅ Be ready in case conditions change.
✅ Gather important items like medications, ID, chargers, and anything you may need if you have to leave.

There is NOT an order to leave right now. This is a reminder to be prepared and pay attention to updates.
