A message from our founder:

We created the Uncle Kenny Fund to honor the life and legacy of Kenny Timpson — a man whose love, generosity, and steady presence shaped our family and our work. His sudden passing reminded us how deeply community care matters.

This mutual aid fund provides emergency support for Black, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander community members in Washington County and the connected communities Uncle Kenny cherished.

Your donation helps keep his spirit alive and ensures his legacy of care continues for generations. ❤️

The Uncle Kenny Fund is a mutual aid fund and a tribute to love, memory, and the quiet power of showing up for one another. Created by W.E.S.T. Side Connect in honor of our founder’s beloved Uncle Kenny Timpson—who passed suddenly on November 25, 2024—the fund carries forward his legacy as a steady, open-armed giver.

This mutual aid fund provides emergency support to Black, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander communities in Washington County, offering practical help when life tilts unexpectedly. In Uncle Kenny’s spirit, we provide judgment-free support: gas, temporary lodging, groceries, small bill assistance, and other urgent needs that help families steady themselves.

Because Uncle Kenny’s love stretched far beyond one place, the fund also supports communities he cherished in Seattle, Washington; Ocean Shores, Washington; Las Vegas, Nevada; the area of Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, affectionately known as the DMV; and our hometown of Anchorage, Alaska.

His legacy is a lifeline. His care is a compass. Through this mutual aid fund, the doors he always held open stay open for others.

You can help keep Uncle Kenny’s spirit alive. Use our Zeffy widget below to donate, a secure, easy-to-use platform that ensures 100% of your gift goes directly to the communities we serve—no fees taken. Every gift, big or small, extends Uncle Kenny’s legacy of love, care, and generosity.

🖤 We Refuse to Be Silent. We Stand with Palestine. 🇵🇸✊

Let’s be clear: condemning genocide is not antisemitic.
We stand firmly against the Israeli state’s ongoing assault on Palestinian lives. We are not against Jewish people — we are against the mass killing, forced displacement, and destruction of innocent people. There is no justification for genocide. Ever.

Deep respect and gratitude to Beaverton School Board member Tammy Carpenter, who continues to be a true justice accomplice — using her position not to play it safe, but to speak truth, to uplift the humanity of Palestinians, and to stand with those at the margins when it matters most.

Justice demands boldness. Neutrality is violence.
Free Palestine. End the genocide. Now.
