This week is National Community Development week. Each year since 2010 Southern Maine Agency on Aging has received funding through Cumberland County's Community Development Block Grant to fund various projects and operations. This year Southern Maine Agency on Aging is receiving funding for their Meals on Wheels program which provides pre-prepared, frozen meals to seniors and disabled individuals who are homebound and unable to regularly prepare nutritious meals.
