Our esteemed President Kathleen Moneghan (DHA, MPAS, PA-C, ACSM CEP), presented at the American Academy of Physician Associates annual conference, on "Advancing PA Practice: Breaking Barriers and Building the Future". Kathleen spoke about our recent legislative successes and collaboration with stakeholders.

For this, Kathleen also accepted the "Triple Crown Achievement" for being the first State Constituent Organization (CO) to successfully pass all three!

It's time for the American Academy of Physician Associates House of Delegates (HOD)! Maine proudly sent 3 delegates to New Orleans, Louisiana to represent the interests of Maine PAs. This year Stephanie Podolski, DMSc, MS, MPH, PA-C, is serving for her NINETH year! Angela Gagne Leclerc, PA-C is serving her fourth year and Steve Blessington PA-C, MHP, EMT-P is back to HOD for a fifth session!

The AAPA House of Delegates (HOD) serves as the policy‑making body of the American Academy of Physician Associates, representing PAs from constituent organizations and the Student Academy. It holds the sole authority to establish the profession’s collective values, philosophies, and principles through formal policies and position statements. The HOD functions as the forum where delegates debate, amend, and vote on resolutions that guide AAPA’s advocacy, clinical practice standards, and strategic direction.
