IMPORTANT REMINDER -- FLOTILLA MEMBERSHIP DUES ! All members of Flotilla 76 should have received several emails about dues for the upcoming calendar year. If you did not receive an email with payment information, please check your SPAM folder or contact the FSO-FN. Payments not received by the due date will incur a late fee.

All members of Flotilla 76 are also encouraged to check their contact information in AUXDATA to make sure that email address, phone number, and physical address are all correct. This will help ensure that important communications are not missed.

PROGRAM VISITS ON TOMAHAWK ISLAND The Recreational Boating Safety Visitation Program is an important boating-safety outreach program of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Trained Program Visitors (PV) visit local marine dealers, tackle shops, and partner businesses to distribute safe-boating literature, display safety posters, and promote public education courses and Vessel Safety Checks.

PORTLAND FLEET WEEK Auxiliarists from Division 7 and beyond had several long days on the water helping keep things safe for everyone during the Rose Festival visit from vessels from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Corps of Engineers, and Royal Canadian Navy. Fleet week is definitely an "all hands on deck" event for our boat crewmembers and coxswains! And things aren't over yet, as several Auxiliarists will also help es**rt visiting ships back out to sea.

QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING Yesterday, coxswains and boat crewmembers from throughout Division 7 participated in on-the-water training and evaluation. All passed with flying colors, and Flotilla 76 also welcomed a new Qualifications Examiner and a new coxswain!

SPOT THE AUXILIARISTS! This past week, two Auxiliarists, including a member of Flotilla 76, had the honor of participating in a four-day SAR Coordination and Ex*****on course given by personnel from the U.S. Coast Guard's National Search and Rescue School based in Yorktown, VA. The course was held in Newport, OR, and was attended by active-duty personnel from throughout the Northwest District, along with two auxiliarists (a coxswain and a coxswain-in-training). Trainings like these help keep our skills sharp and make the Auxiliary a valuable contributor to Team Coast Guard!

5k RUN TO REMEMBER This morning, several shipmates from Flotilla 76 got together for a 5k "Run to Remember" in honor of lost members of the service. After an early fellowship breakfast, they hit some of the beatifully maintained SW Trails in Portland before the heat built (the high today was 91 degrees, a new record). It was a fantastic event for a great cause, and it will definitely not be the last!

VIRTUAL 5k - RUN TO REMEMBER Flotilla 76 is proud to host a virtual U.S. Coast Guard Run to Remember during the month of May. Members may complete their walk/run anytime during May. The goal is to encourage participation, remembrance, and camaraderie. Flotilla 76 Participants who submit their results will be entered into a drawing for three prizes!
