I relocated to Portland in July 2025 and set up my shop for Papermaking, Letterpress and Bookbinding in my new space.

Papermaking with Plants
Friday & Saturday, February 27 - 28, 2026

Intertwine your love of plants with your curiosity about how they transform in the papermaking process. In this two-day exploration, we’ll work with local and native harvested plants to create both swatches and finished sheets using local and indigenous fibers.
Fibers will be gathered in advance from a variety of sources, including Rhiannon’s Portland garden and partnerships with community gardens. As we dive into the beating and sheet-forming processes, participants will have the opportunity to take home wet sheets for drying and future creative use. Throughout the two days, students will learn how to cook, process, pull, and dry fibers to create a set of truly unique handmade papers.

Age Range: Adults and youth ages 16+ accompanied by an adult
Registration cutoff date February 24th

A surprise set on my dresser while packing for San Francisco: a studio spotlight in the current issue of "In Her Studio", featuring my letterpress and papermaking practice in Portland.

It feels like a quiet reminder that showing up matters—daily, imperfectly, especially when it’s hard. Keep doing the work. Keep finding ways to be seen. Things unfold.

Field trip! It was my first time at the Portland Art Book Fair and I left feeling inspired and excited to be surrounded by so many bookish people. 🤤📚

I'm sure we'll be back next year, both and I got plenty of goodies to stuff in our stockings (or read before if it's an emergency). Yay!

It's my first fair since moving to Portland! So much to do in the few days I have left... Whew.

If you won't be in LA this weekend I would be so grateful for any cheerleading you can spare -- it will be my first time at this amazing fair.

Fiskars Printing Days...
Ink! Paper! Cake! 🎂
We dove into the presses today—letterpress printing and monotype magic—thanks to the ever-wonderful Rowan Mena () and the Fiskars Printmaking Association. The studio was buzzing with creative energy, inky fingers, and laughter.

We even squeezed in a sweet birthday celebration (because what's a print day without a little frosting?).

Outside the studio, Fiskars continues to charm—cobblestone paths, lush green walks, and art and craft delights tucked into every corner.

More studio adventures to come tomorrow! Stay tuned...
