West End Neighborhood Association - WENA West End Neighborhood Association (WENA) is an organization in Portland which promotes a safe, healthy and connected community of neighbors and businesses.

The purpose of the West End Neighborhood Association (WENA) is to address issues and concerns that affect the quality of life of all who live and/or work in the West End. The Association fosters and sponsors projects of the individual districts that comprise the West End; serves as a liaison with City Hall; and monitors the delivery of city services, questions of development and design, and mainte

nance of neighborhoods to ensure that they are clean, safe, quiet and attractive. WENA meets on the second Wednesday of each month, 6:30 - 8 p.m., at Reiche Community Center. WENA welcomes all those with a vested interest in the West End, regardless of residence.

We have expanded from 5 locations to 10 locations: Danforth St. at Fletcher St., Emery St., May St., and Park St., at Cushman St. at Clark St., as well as at Harber View Park, Bracket St. at Pine St., Bracket St. at Carleton St., and, finally, Bracket St. at Neal St.

WestFest is back, and we’re bringing the neighborhood together for a full day of fun ☀️🎶

Join us on Saturday, May 30th at Reiche Community Center for:
• Live music
• Local food
• Crafts & games
• Face painting
• Community booths
• Free bike tune-ups, decorating, and a mobility parade

Whether you stop by for an hour or stay all day, there’ll be something for everyone. Come celebrate community, meet your neighbors, and kick off the summer with us!

We’re excited to see you at our General Meeting this week.

Time: January 14th, 6:30–8:00 PM

We’re ringing in 2026 with a special guest, Paul Drinan, Director of Vision Zero Maine. You’ll have the chance to hear how Vision Zero is working to improve safety for our community and to engage with him directly.

You’ll also hear from neighbors about volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and what’s been happening in the Reiche Community Room.

We hope to see you there!
