bors in redesigning the Plan zoning away from the I-84 poor air quality. Together we redesigned the zoning so that the highest residential density now follows 60th Ave. rather than being bound along the I-84 freeway. Working with Architect Ross Chapin and Landscape Architect Mike Abatte I served as project manager, planner, & public outreach coordinator in the approval of the 5th St. Cottages Pocket Neighborhood in Gresham for Mike McKeel. Currently, I work with residents seeking to develop a cottage subdivision, the Metro South Transfer Station expansion, and completing the redevelopment of the Kellogg Middle School(KMS) for Portland Public Schools(PPS). Providing both land use planning and public engagement services, my City of Portland Conditional Use Application was approved including 6 zoning adjustments. Additional products to date include: quarterly community updates; demographic analysis of community uses of the PPS schools in the KMS feeder school area; and Site Management Manual, integrating approval requirements.

*Kellogg Middle School Groundbreaking Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June, 1st* -> Please Join Us!

Celebrate with us the start of a new PPS Kellogg Middle School with a groundbreaking ceremony that takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 6909 SE Powell Blvd. Speakers, local dignitaries and music will add to the festive atmosphere. The event also provides the public an opportunity to meet the project team and learn more about the new school. Kellogg will be the first entirely new school to be built in SE Portland in many decades and will provide students and staff with a state-of-the-art middle school facility. Kellogg is one of the first major construction projects funded by the May 2017 Bond.

Kellogg Rebuild Highlights
The Kellogg site will include over 100,000 square feet of new construction, including a performing arts stage, a multi-purpose gym and assembly space, a large, flexible commons space, and dedicated outdoor learning spaces. The school will be a focal point of its Southeast Portland neighborhood, offering a new educational center and resource hub for the community.
