"Ancestors" is an upcoming group exhibition that will be on display in the gallery from June 21 - July 27, 2024.

“Clear and strong self-identity comes from being in constant communication with our ancestors. This exhibition explores the ways in which different communities maintain their connections. For many, being in relationship with one’s ancestors is an act of survivance and through sharing our stories we can start to imagine a collective existence.” --Kanani Miyamoto and Steph Littlebird, curators

This group exhibition includes work by: Amber Kay Ball, Anthony Hudson, amoqiix-araceli, Molly Alloy, marvin parra orozco, Arie Beston, Marybel Martin, Amie Pascal, Jerome Alexander Sloan, Nica Aquino, Christina Martin, Kitana Connelly, Lucas Cantoni Jose, and Sunset Suh.

Please join us at the opening reception of this beautiful exhibition on June 27 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the gallery. Light refreshments will be served. Stay tuned for details about the upcoming artist talk and curator talk as well!

The planning for John's memorial celebration (at which all who loved him will be welcome) is underway, and we have started a GoFundMe campaign to help offset the costs. Please consider contributing if you can, and please share to spread the word so we can send him off in style. Thank you.
