A few weeks ago, our volunteers stepped into a powerful experience during our volunteer training: the “Poverty Walk.” 💭👣 This interactive activity helps bring awareness to the complex cycles and barriers many families face every day—things that aren’t always visible on the surface.

Moments like these deepen empathy, challenge assumptions, and prepare our community to show up with compassion and understanding. ❤️ We’re so grateful for volunteers who are willing to learn, grow, and walk alongside families in meaningful ways.

Earlier this month, Catherine facilitated our Ministry Lead Meeting, creating space for honest conversation and encouragement 💫. Our ministry leads shared both the challenges and the “wins” they’re experiencing as they champion Safe Families within their churches. Over lunch and fellowship, we connected, exchanged creative ideas 🎨, and encouraged one another to engage our unique congregations in this important ministry and movement together. 🫂💚

We are grateful for you, Ministry Leads! You “keep the light💡on” for the people in your churches, helping them see the opportunity to go deeper in their faith.💙

We loved getting the opportunity to share this past Sunday with the Red Sea Community! 💛

📍Location: Bridgetown Church

🗓 Saturday, March 14th | ⏰ 9:00-1:00

✅ You’ll get live training with Safe Families staff
✅ Help with paperwork and your application
✅ Support scheduling your Home Study and/or interview
✅ Yummy lunch ☕️🥙

The final 10% (fingerprints & Home Study/interview) will be done later, but this will get you nearly there!
