Our ReUse Center has an abundance of these items. With the holidays & school breaks coming soon, perhaps you may have a project or craft in mind…. There are: Kleenex boxes, pill bottles, coffee containers, clear plastic large & small containers, Pringle cans, Tide pod containers, 1/2 gallon glass containers, oatmeal containers, TP rolls, paper towel rolls, pine cones & many other items. These are of no cost to you! Come see what you can use 😳

REMINDER:
Jay County residents may use the landfill 2 times per year for free. You must reside at the address. There is a 1,000 lb limit per trip and no DUMP TRUCKS or commercial trucks or trailers allowed to bring materials in for free as part of the free visit program. They will charge you if the above rules are not met!

Portland and Dunkirk recycling containers are now under video surveillance cameras as a last resort effort to be able to keep them! We have asked several times for recycling only items to be put into the containers and for residents not to leave items outside or on top of the containers. Charges and fines will now be put into place! If the messes and non recycling items continue, this service will be permanently removed! If the residents want to keep this service we want and need your help. There are many youth groups and nonprofit organizations that depend on funding from these recycling locations and I do not want to take this from them or the residents that do the right things.
