But most of all... thank you to everyone that showed up, rain or shine, to have a little fun and community fellowship.

Friendly reminder about the city council meeting next Thursday, June 11 at 6pm. We will be discussing interest in having our own 4th of July community event, and other topics. Look forward to seeing you guys there!

🚨🚨ATTENTION 🚨🚨

As many of you may have already seen, the Fireworks in the Park event has been moved to Richland Park. I know this is a big disappointment for everyone, but the event has outgrown our community. The lack of parking and the close proximity of the fireworks to homes and people has been an issue for several years now. I am grateful for the years we were able to host it.

The fire department is working on a smaller event that will be more focused on our local kids and community later in the summer.

That being said, I have had several people reach out to me about trying to organize our own 4th of July celebration. I am inviting everyone to join us at City Hall on June 11 at 6 pm to have a community discussion on the matter. We will need volunteers to step up and take charge in planning and executing the celebration.

Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors, as only a small portion of our residents follow this page.

The sewer line is currently shut off for a repair. Please use as little water as possible. If your light comes on, there is nothing that can be done until the line is re-opened. Once it is, the system will work as normal.
