Six feet of distancing is the minimum, other experts actually recommend 20 feet. Thanks for helping everyone stay healthy!

Hey Colonel Summers Park users-- the playground is closed, but adults keep using the equipment for working out. Please note that you may be the only one using it at this exact moment, but lots of other adults are also touching it! I know you want to work out, but keep in mind that this is a pandemic, which is why the playground equipment has tape on it... to remind you that it is closed!

Yes, the playground is now officially closed for now. The park itself is still open, just make sure that you are keeping 6 feet of distance between yourself and anyone who you aren’t already in contact with in your household.
We will get through this, and thank you for doing your part!

The Buckman Community Association is proud to host the 10th annual BUCKMAN SUMMER PICNIC at Colonel Summers Park Sunday, July 28th 2019 from 4pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome to join us at this event, for food, fun and music!

​The Picnic is a great opportunity to interact with the local community and to meet your neighbors! We have something for everyone to enjoy including inflatable activities for the young and old alike, several picnic activities for everyone to enjoy, the opportunity to win door prizes from businesses in the local area and music from local Portland artists.
