Mainers have spoken. We voted resoundingly to ensure every Maine citizen can continue to access their right to vote.

Our campaign manager said it best: “This campaign was about standing up for the thousands of Mainers who rely on absentee voting: Our veterans, disabled neighbors, working parents, seniors and countless others. This victory is for them and the thousands of people who knocked on doors, talked to their friends and neighbors, and worked so hard to protect Maine’s elections.”

Maine voters on Tuesday rejected a Republican-led effort to require photo identification when casting a ballot and to add new restrictions on absentee voting.
