Twelve years have passed since the Portland Fire Department lost Captain Michael Kucsma, but his memory remains an important part of our department's history.

Captain Kucsma's dedication to the fire service, commitment to his fellow firefighters, and service to the citizens of Portland left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Today, we pause to remember a respected officer, colleague, and friend whose legacy continues to live on within our ranks.

Never forgotten.
