Hope we got a chance to see you at Club Fair today! We felt very lucky to get a visit from Feminist Union international member: Susanne Banks who flew all the way to Portland from Norway earlier this week. Excited to meet and visit with the 70 new students who signed up for our first meeting this coming Tuesday during lunch in room 119. Hope to see you all there!

Awesome job Wilson High School! Today's Voter Drive got 79 young people registered to vote and 15 pledged to register when they turn 17. So proud to be apart of this community so committed to performing their civic duty. Thanks so much to our awesome volunteers, teachers, wilson leadership, and administration for making this event possible.

Hope we got a chance to catch up with you at the homecoming tailgater last Friday! If you didn't get a chance to talk to us and would like to, come to Club Fair (Oct. 1st) or National Voter Registration Day tomorrow (Sept. 22nd) at lunch by the gym. Registering to vote is the first step of having an impact and making a difference in your community. Hope to see you there!

Hey FemU, let's work on being the best allies we can be this year and go to BSU meetings and events! Interesting article about the struggles Wilson's BSU has encountered featured over the summer in our very own Willamette Weekly.

Of the 14 students who regularly attended Wilson’s black student union meetings this year, nine were white.

Feminists' Union is a group of students 9th-12th grade at Wilson High School in Portland, Oregon. We meet weekly to discuss issues of social justice, play games, voice our opinions, and work on projects. Let's make this name change happen you guys! It's good to see FU's very own Maddy Vanspeybroeck and BSU's Kendall Berry speaking out on the issue.

With the successful effort to remove the Confederate flag from the South Carolina Capitol grounds, activists across the nation are calling for renamings of buildings, landmarks and even lakes.
