On Wednesday, May 25, 2016 the Portola Valley Town Council voted to bring all of its ratepayers into the Peninsula Clean Energy program at 100% renewable electricity. This groundbreaking action makes Portola Valley one of the first cities in California to move to 100% renewable electricity and the first to make this move through a Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program.

Portola Valley will launch its Bring Your Own Cup Film Series with "Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story," in which filmmakers and food lovers Jen and Grant dive into the issue of waste at the farm, in retail and in their own fridge.
