Today, six years later, we remember Jamestown Police Officer Ryan Bourque who was tragically killed by a wrong way, intoxicated and high driver on RT 95 as Ryan travelled home from work. We know the pain his family has suffered and our heart hurts for them, especially today. We ask that you do something kind today in Ryan’s honor. Thank a police officer or give an extra-long hug to your child. It might be your last chance.

Mock DUI Scene at Portsmouth High School

The Portsmouth Police Department, in conjunction with Portsmouth Rhode Island Firefighters, Portsmouth Prevention Coalition, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Portsmouth High School, staged a mock DUI scene for the students and faculty yesterday May 19, 2022.

This was organized to not only help bring awareness to the students of the aftermath and consequences of driving under the influence, but also to educate and provide resources if needed.

Special thanks to High School Principal Joseph Amaral and Assistant Principal Collin Grimsey for facilitating this event to bring awareness to the effects and aftermath of drunk and impaired driving during prom and graduation season

Also a big thank you goes out to R&A Towing for providing the vehicles, the student actors (who were fantastic), SRO Pirri, SRO Weaver, Ofc. Stewart and Ofc. Thulier.

Stay safe during this prom season!

Portsmouth Police RI say the dogs, named Turkey and Gravy, were found on the side of the road Thanksgiving morning in the Gardner Seveney Sports complex.
On November 25, 2021, Thanksgiving morning at 7:00 am the Portsmouth Police Department received a call that two female dogs were found lying on the side of the road in the Gardner Seveney Sports complex. Upon an officer’s arrival the dogs were located and appeared to have been abandoned, lethargic and emaciated. The dogs who were named Turkey (dark colored) and Gravy (white color) were taken to an emergency veterinarian where they received treatment for neglect. Later in the day information was received that Turkey needed to be euthanized due to her poor health condition. Gravy is currently safe and under our veterinarian’s care here at the Potter League. Anyone who has any information about this case are asked to contact the Portsmouth Police RI Detective Division at 401-683-0994 or the general line at 401-683-0300.

BOOK DISCLOSURE - IMPACTING CRIMINOLOGY The policeman is the main character of any police story in real life and being the protagonist of the investigation and the arrest, he has to be better than all the other professionals who will succeed him in the process: judge, prosecutor, defense attorney. The modern police officer must have a broad and comprehensive understanding of crime in all its modalities, in order not to be outdated in its concepts and interpretations and become an ineffective public safety professional. A full understanding of their work enables the modern policeman to immediately connect a prison to a voluntary action, however isolated, or to connect that prison to a criminal organization. A simple prison is closed with the presentation of the culprit to a judge, but a complex prison has ramifications that will lead the Police to dismantle criminal organizations. Both are harmful to society in all its aspects, but that action, when connected to a criminal organization, has a greater potential for danger and if not understood, isolated, neutralized and repressed; it will grow and become through planned actions of hybrid warfare, a real danger for the very organization of the State, because when it reaches this stage, SOCIAL CHAOS will already be installed and the domain of CRIMINOCRACY will emerge. In order to provide data for a comparative study on this topic, I present my most recent book to fellow officers, whose synopsis is transcribed below: PUBLISHED IN ENGLISH – 547 PAGES. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0978WP1FK?ref_=pe_3052080_397514860 BOOK SYNOPSIS HETERODOX CRIMINOLOGY (CRIMINOCRACY versus CIVILIZATION), is a bold, daring and challenging book to CRIMINOCRACY. In Brazilian and world literature, CRIMINOLOGY has been discussed by people who are studious and reputable in its objectives, but this criminal science has also been very contaminated by stories full of lies and distortions about the reality of the facts, with the aim of deceiving and deceiving any person who reads these lies and sophistries or who becomes aware of them. The sophisms and lies in relation to Criminology in Brazil and in the world are part of efficient and effective actions of criminal hybrid warfare. The first objective of these criminal hybrid war actions is to destroy the structure of a traditional society through the establishment of SOCIAL CHAOS and the inversion of moral and legal values conquered by Civilization. The second objective of these criminal hybrid war actions is to neutralize and isolate the five organized societies of any country: CIVIL, POLITICAL, POLICE, LEGAL AND MILITARY. The third objective of these criminal hybrid war actions is to occupy State Power and establish a new order: CRIMINOCRACY. In these brief words, HETERODOX CRIMINOLOGY (CRIMINOCRACY versus CIVILIZATION) is a real ALERT to reputable people, as it is a book based on research carried out within the criminal underworld, dissecting its insides, to know its ways of acting in various modalities criminal in their origin and offer efficient and effective solutions to reverse this serious problem called: CRIMINOCRACY. STAY ALERT AND PROTECT YOURSELF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. CRIMINOCRACY IS CRUEL. I just want to take a minute to thank one of your fine officers, I believe his name is Allen Garcia. We were at polo last weekend when my husband had a seizure. He went out of his way to be kind and calming to those of us who were there scared and worried. The Firemen/EMT's were also wonderful. Please extend our thanks to Mr. Garcia and all of those fine officers who helped us. Thank you.
