As of Tuesday, June 1st, Beazley Senior Center will no longer require masks for members and staff who are vaccinated. All non-vaccinated individuals MUST continue to wear a mask for their own safety and others.
The social distancing requirement will also be relaxed. You may sit at your workstation without the worry of getting too close and talk to others freely unless someone expresses otherwise.
Please be aware that COVID 19 is still “out there” and the relaxed requirements do not mean all is back to “normal.” It is encouraged for all to continue the use of hand sanitizer and hand washing throughout the day. The Center will also continue to disinfect equipment and work areas as before.
Getting the vaccine can be a choice for some and not others. Keeping with the BSC policy of respecting others, personal opinions should be kept to yourself. The Center has made accommodations for all to attend whether you have been vaccinated or not.
We will inform you of future changes as new data from the CDC and the State of Virginia becomes available.
