Saturday was a full and productive day for IMA members! In addition to fi****ms and emergency vehicle operations breakout sessions, members spent half the day with Duhammel Protective Training Solutions completing their mandated defensive tactics training.

DPTS, led by Randy Duhammel, instructed members on situational awareness, fi****ms retention, reactionary distancing, and de-escalation techniques. The training emphasized safety and control, challenging members to think quickly and respond effectively to real-world scenarios they may encounter in the line of duty.

The techniques taught by Randy and his team are designed to reduce injuries, build confidence, and equip law enforcement professionals with the tools needed to manage situations safely and effectively.

The privilege was ours to host Attorney General Todd Rokita and his office at this year’s conference as a guest speaker. AG Rokita took time to express his strong support for law enforcement and the work performed daily by our members.
He also engaged directly with attendees, answering numerous questions and making himself available for continued discussion on future concerns. We greatly appreciate his willingness to connect with our membership and support our mission.

More fi****ms training photos capturing members engaged in hands-on scenarios using simulation rounds and targets. Throughout the training, members refined their techniques and enhanced their accuracy under the guidance of our fi****ms instructors.
Participants worked through a variety of realistic scenarios, including clearing corner-fed rooms, navigating hallways, and handling complex intersections. This dynamic training challenged members to think critically and apply techniques they may not typically consider in the field.
Our goal is to ensure every member is well equipped, highly trained, and prepared to serve their communities with confidence and professionalism.
