📣 Important Reminder: Get Your Affairs in Order! 📜

This information is for those who want to ensure a smoother process for their loved ones when they're no longer here. 💕

Here's a checklist to help you get started:

1. Ensure that all your bank accounts have direct beneficiaries. This simplifies access for your loved ones with just a Death Certificate and their ID.

2. Consider a TOD (Transfer On Death) deed if you own property. It can save your heirs thousands and avoid the need for Probate.

3. Create a Living Will to specify your healthcare wishes if you can't communicate them yourself.

4. Establish a Durable Power of Attorney for legal decisions when you can't make them.

5. Set up a Power of Attorney for Healthcare to designate someone for medical decisions.

6. Create a Last Will & Testament to designate who gets your personal belongings.

7. Make a Funeral Planning Declaration to express your burial wishes and services.

By having these documents in place, you can avoid Probate. Otherwise, you'll need to open an estate account and go through a complex process.

Don't forget to:
- Compile a list of your financial accounts and information.
- Share your Apple ID, bank account logins, and passwords with a trusted person.
- Keep documentation and titles for vehicles and other assets in order.

Most importantly, have open conversations with your loved ones about your wishes. This ensures clarity and minimizes questions or hurt feelings.

Let's inspire our friends and family to take care of these important matters, making life easier for those left behind. 💪💖

With Israel waging war on terrorists it is sad to see that local groups in North Idaho taking donations to fight for human rights have been silent. The choice is clear choose good or evil. The Human Rights organizations locally are actually local chapters of the Southern Poverty Law Center! Yep the same who declare Parents, Christians, Jews and Americans as horrible domestic terrorists. This week the SPLC essentially threw its support behind Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran in their decades long support of all things Anti-Semitic; the elimination of Christianity as well as the persecution of parents. The silence from these Human Rights organization is defining as well as declarative. If you have been contributing to these organizations I'd recommend getting a refund.

Well it seems that the twice a month RAO Newsletter has fallen by the wayside - apparently a pandemic casualty. Finding information is quite a task as separating the truly valuable information from the bluster and fluff is a larger task then anything else we are confronted with. My go to is usually https://www.HadIt.com and their paranoia is not bad. But admittedly in my frustration lately, I've been evaluating https://hostmtb.org/default3.htm .

Let me know if you have uncovered some good sites. I certainly am always interested in the local Veterans support sites.

Keep in mind that there is nothing better than conversations and sharing with others. But don't forget that great cup of coffee!

This is good news for those who ARE CONTEMPLATING a divorce. But is remains to be seen if there is any route for retroactive applications. This will certainly affect future actions in Arizona but that states long history of hostility towards service-members in any family court action will most likely continue their anti-military court culture.

A rare action in the part of the VA! Is this an indication of a new attitude or a distraction for some more dubious proposals. But none the less, it is your local VA that is responsible for reimbursing for non-VA emergency care bills and that is often where it is very very difficult. It's all about persistence and making sure the VA knows "We're watching them!!!".

Feel free to forward any questions regarding non-Emergency care eligibility, tips and reimbursement.

I have recently received a number of inquiries and requests for help from Veterans who currently have their guns confiscated as well as those who are concerned about their guns being confiscated. All are related to VA Service Connected disability ratings - specifically P.T.S.D. Some LE have jumped on the opportunity to take guns without proper "adjudication" and have refused to return guns to Veterans even when lacking the Federal standards.

I will continue to research this based on a case by case basis because each Veteran is impacted not only by Federal statutes but their particular State and local ordances.
