Water Service Alert: Sandpiper Loop

A temporary water shutdown is in effect on Sandpiper Loop due to a broken service line. City crews are working to complete repairs and restore service as quickly as possible.

Lane Closure: The westbound lane on E. 3rd Ave from N. Frederick to N. Post will be closed 6/10-6/19 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for Ziply to do maintenance on their poles and remove two poles. Two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers onsite routing traffic. Delays possible.

REMINDER: Starting tomorrow, June 10, Evergreen Cemetery staff will begin removing Memorial Day flowers and any seasonal or non-conforming decorations as part of routine maintenance.

A reminder that glass, ceramic, and other breakable items are not permitted in the cemetery at any time.

☀️ Summer fun is back at Q’emiln Park!

The Q’emiln Park boat launch and swim beach will open for the season on Friday, June 12. Whether you're launching a boat, taking a swim, or spending the day by the river, we look forward to welcoming you back.

**Post Falls residents:**
If you live within the city limits, you're eligible for one free parking permit per household. Permits must be renewed for the 2026 season and are available at the Parks & Recreation Office at City Hall. Proof of residency is required.

As always, river conditions can change quickly. Please use caution and stay safe on the water.
