🌱💚 COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATE! 💚🌱

What an incredible last Saturday at the garden! Approximately 25 amazing volunteers came out, worked hard, and helped make HUGE progress despite the cloudy skies. 💪🌿

✨ Here’s what was accomplished:
💧 All 28 drip irrigation lines were installed
🫐 The blueberry bush garden was fully planted
🌱 Every raised garden bed was filled with fresh soil and planted

Best of all, the rain held off just long enough for our volunteers to complete EVERYTHING we had planned — all in one session! 🙌

We are so grateful for this community and the heart people continue to show for this project. The excitement, teamwork, and dedication on display made this a major milestone for our garden and the families it will help feed. 💛

We have an exciting plan to bring this garden to life—and we’d love your help this Saturday for the Community Planting Day!

This garden will not only provide fresh, healthy food, but also create meaningful, hands-on opportunities for people of all ages to connect, learn, and give back. We’re thrilled to quite literally get our hands back in the dirt together!

Today is the final day of Idaho Gives, and what an incredible week it has been. Because of YOU, we’ve already seen generosity turn into real meals, real support, and real hope for families across our community. 🫶

Did you know that a $1,000 donation provides fuel for Betty White, our Grocery Rescue Truck, for an entire month? 🚚💨
Betty White is on the road 6 days a week every week rescuing fresh, surplus food and delivering it back into the community—keeping good food out of the landfill and putting it directly onto the tables of families, seniors, and individuals facing food insecurity. But none of that is possible without fuel.

They spent 8 hours out in front of Super 1 Foods on Saturday and collected over 500 lbs of food AND $700+ for our community—wow! 🥫💵
