🌱 Rick Noordam Community Garden Update! 🌱

The garden is growing and giving! 🍅🥬🫛

🍅 Our Golden Nugget tomatoes are producing big time — about 10 lbs harvested Sunday, with plenty more on the way!
🥬 Kale is thriving, and we’re harvesting the outer leaves to keep it growing.
🫛 Pole beans are ramping up and should be ready soon!
🥒 We harvested the last of our Green Griller zucchini and composted the plants.

🌱 We’ve also planted our next round of spinach, lettuce, bush beans, beets, carrots, and radishes!

And the best part? These fresh harvests will soon be making their way to our neighbors through the food bank. 💚

The garden is growing, and so is the impact! 🌿❤️

We’ll be there collecting food donations for 3rd Avenue Marketplace Food Bank & Senior Café. If you’re able, we’d be so grateful if you brought a few nonperishable food items to help support local families, seniors, and children in need. Every donation makes a difference! 🥫💚

A HUGE thank you to Shine 104.9 / KEEH, Super 1 Foods, and everyone who stopped by to donate. Because of your generosity, we collected an amazing 1,770 pounds of food and $863 to help support local families! 🥫💵

Every can, every dollar, and every act of kindness helps put food on the table for our neighbors in need. We couldn’t do this without such an amazing community!
