Cross Country Season is Here!
Our Poteet Cross Country athletes are back to training and will be running on streets near our campuses throughout the season.
Drivers, please slow down, stay alert, and watch for our runners wearing reflective vests, especially along Strawberry City Road, Horton Road, Horton Lane, and Briones Road.
Thank you, Poteet community, for helping us keep our student-athletes safe while they put in the miles!

Tenant Notice for Watering Trees 🌳💦
Per your lease, you are responsible for watering trees and shrubs around your apartment. Due to the extreme heat and lack of rain, you should water often enough to compensate for this. Based on the appearance of some of the trees on the property, this is not being done.
Effective immediately, for best results you should leave water on the trees and shrubs on a slow drip for 4-6 hours so that each tree has a chance to absorb the water down to the root system and the water does not run off. Once watered sufficiently, the tree should no longer show signs of distress. (Usually within 2-3 days).
This process can then be repeated weekly and or whenever you see the trees or shrubs in distress.

The Poteet Housing Authority is accepting applications for 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apts. All apts. include a stove and refrigerator. All units have central heat/air or wall heater and a window unit. Rent based on 30% of monthly family income. Applicants may not exceed current HUD established income limits. Application screening includes: Verification of current income, prior 3-year landlord history, credit history check and criminal history check. Applications may be picked up at 120 Avenue E, Poteet.
