Dear Poth ISD Families,

STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) and STAAR Grades 3-8 results are now available for viewing through the Ascender Parent Portal.

To view your child's STAAR results:
1. Log in to your Ascender Parent Portal account.
2. Select your student.
3. Navigate to the Texas Assessment section under Published Grades.
4. Click the available link to view your child's online score report.

The online score report provides:
⭐STAAR performance levels and scale scores
⭐Information about your child's strengths and areas for growth
⭐Questions your child answered correctly and incorrectly
⭐Personalized learning resources to support continued academic success

5th and 8th Grade Parents: Science STAAR Results will be available at a later date in the portal. They have not been released yet. We will update as soon as they become available.

If you need assistance accessing your Ascender Parent Portal account or have questions about your child's STAAR results, please contact your child's campus office.

🏴‍☠️🏆 JH SHOWCASE CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏴‍☠️

The Poth Lady Pirates take home Showcase #1 of 4 at the Crossroads Sports Center! 💪🔥

Poth put together an impressive day of volleyball, finishing 3-0 and showing why they are one of the top up-and-coming programs around. This group plays with confidence, competes hard, and isn’t afraid to travel anywhere to take on quality competition. 👊🏐

The future is bright for the Lady Pirates. They have a talented group of young athletes, and if today was any indication, they’re only getting started. 🚀

🏐 Next Generation Spotlight 🏐

These two 8th graders from Poth form a one-two punch that is about as good as it gets!

Sophia Kurz – Middle Blocker | Poth | 8th Grade

Sophia has good size for her age and an incredibly powerful swing. With both parents being tall, there’s a good chance she still has plenty of growth ahead of her. Size may be the final piece of the puzzle for this talented young athlete, and if it comes, everyone better watch out because she already has all the tools in the bag.

Landri Helmke – Setter/Right Side | Poth | 8th Grade

A familiar face at CSC, Landri always finds a way to stand out. She has great hands, a powerful serve, and the versatility to impact the game in multiple ways. She sets for the Pirates but can also play right side, making her one of those players who never seems to come off the court.

These two helped lead Poth to a district championship last season, and don’t expect them to slow down anytime soon. With high school volleyball right around the corner, write these names down now. Sophia Kurz and Landri Helmke look poised to make an immediate impact at the varsity level in upcoming years. 🔥💪🏐

🎯🏴‍☠️ Poth Shooting Team Brings Home BIG Wins! 🏴‍☠️🎯

The Poth Shooting Team showed up, showed out, and brought home some serious hardware at the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department Ag Clays State Sporting Event!

As a team, these Pirates represented Poth with confidence, focus, and pride, earning STATE CHAMPION honors in Super Sporting and STATE CHAMPION honors in Sporting, along with a 3rd Place finish in Trap! What an incredible accomplishment for this group of talented shooters.

Each student played an important role in this success, and we are proud to recognize not only the team awards, but also the individual effort, dedication, and skill it took to get there. Their hard work, steady aim, and Pirate pride were on full display!

Smokin' hot 🔥. Congratulations Pirate Nation BBQ Team.

🔥🏴‍☠️🔥 Pirate Nation BBQ placed 6TH OVERALL at the National High School BBQ Competition this week! 🔥🏴‍☠️🔥

They competed against more than 100 teams from across the US and officially put Poth, TX on the map!

📢 Poth ISD Facility Notice

Beginning June 15, the Poth ISD Track & Field facilities will be closed for construction.

Facilities are anticipated to reopen August 1, or when the project is complete.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as improvements are made to our facilities.
