The last 3 days 2 of our guys went and took Swift Water Rescue Technician class, hosted by Pilot K**b Fire and taught by Downstream Rescue Solutions. Both our guys passed and are now certified. Congrats to firefighter/engineer Mike Grimes and Captain Jamie Lalumondiere!

The last few months our guys have been getting CPR AED certified in all ages along with, stop life threatening bleeding, and narcan administration use. With having our guys all certified in this we were able to receive AEDs for all our apparatus that we have. Thanks to Washington County Ambulance District we received 14 brand new AEDs!! It is much appreciated to get these for our community and thanks to our guys for taking the time to take all the classes.

🚨Today members of the Potosi Fire Protection District spent time training on brush fire operations. These past couple weeks our members worked on tactics, safety and coordination.

We are extremely proud of the dedication our members show by taking time out of their personal lives to train and serve others.
