Have you heard of Carpool Karaoke?🎤 Well, today at the high school Mrs. DiMatteo took the chorus class on a “School Bus Karaoke” 🚌🚍 trip around the village. It took a little bit to get the students to warm up to the idea (mornings are early!) but once they did, it was great fun! Many thanks to Transportation Director Mr. Kevin Talcott who took time out of his busy day to drive the group around and make a last stop at Tim Horton’s where Mrs. DiMatteo treated the class to donuts.

Congratulations to the following Potsdam students and teams who were standouts at the FFA State Convention in Buffalo last weekend.

In the Maple Production Competition, Owen Ames ranked 15th out of 272 participants from across the state.
In Floriculture, Zoe Morrill ranked 38th out of 254 participants from across the state.
In Aquaculture, Ethan Shelly ranked 9th out of 83 participants.

Our Aquaculture Team was 5th in New York State.

Our Floriculture Team was 15th out of 68 in the state.

Great work by the students and their advisor, Mrs. Kimberly Hill.

P2 will be hosting our final blood drive of the year on Friday, 5/15. We have several appointment slots still open if you are interested in donating! May donors may receive a $20 Amazon gift card from the Red Cross. Go to redcrossblood.org to register.

The drive is in the ANNEX BUILDING behind the Middle School! They have not updated the location online yet.

Calling all former and current Sandstoners!! 💙🧡💙🧡

The Potsdam High School Yearbook Club is looking to downsize our collection of past yearbooks! We have a variety of editions available for purchase, including the following years:

1958, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

If you're interested in purchasing a piece of Potsdam history, please reach out to [email protected].

We are asking for a $20 donation per book, with all proceeds going toward upgrading yearbook equipment for our students.

Current Yearbooks are on sale till May 31 for $65 plus tax. We only have about 50 books left. Order forms can be picked up in the main office or ordered online at www.jostens.com
