Heads up for those signed up for the Antelope Creek Village Tour tomorrow, 10/17/26. Please be prepared for inclement weather with the appropriate attire such as jackets, gloves, beanies, closed toed shoes, walking sticks etc. We are expecting freezing temperatures in the morning and strong winds.

🚨 ROSITA FLATS CLOSED — DO NOT ENTER 🚨

Due to flooding in the area on the Texas side from Highway 287 to Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, Rosita Flats is CLOSED until further notice.

Do not attempt to enter the area. Floodwaters can be deeper and faster than they appear, roads can wash out without warning, and even four-wheel-drive vehicles can be swept away.

No trip, campsite, or ORV ride is worth your life.

Please respect all closures, barriers, and signs and allow conditions to improve before returning to the area.

Rosita Flats will remain closed until further notice.

⚠️ Turn around. Don’t drown. Stay out of flooded areas.
