Friendly Reminder: Absentee Ballot for the August 4 Election
Just a friendly reminder that if you were sent an absentee ballot for the August 4 election. Please vote your ballot and return it as soon as possible to the:

If you have any questions, please contact the Clerk's Office at 517-224-8103.

You may return your completed absentee ballot by:
• Dropping it in the secure drop box located outside the front entrance of the Clerk's Office.
• Returning it directly to the Clerk's Office during business hours.
• Mailing it back (please note that, currently, personal delivery is strongly recommended to ensure it arrives on time).
• Bringing it to the Early Voting location at Carmel Township Hall, 661 Beech St., Charlotte.
• Bringing it to your Election Day polling location in the City of Potterville.

Potterville Alerts:
Consumers Energy is planning to upgrade equipment in a substation and in the Potterville area, starting late July 11, ensuring the company can continue to provide safe and reliable electric service for residents of the community.

The overnight work will affect 2,954 customers from 10 p.m. Saturday, July 11, until as late as 8 a.m. the next morning. The work was originally scheduled for June 27, and Consumers Energy has mailed postcards to affected customers in the area.
Residents who live generally south of E. Strange Road, east of Benton Road, north of E. Kinsel Highway, and west of Spruce Road will be affected.

"Consumers Energy is committed to securing the grid to ensure that fewer people ever lose power. Planned upgrades like this one are a critical part of that work,” said Steve Herrygers, Consumers Energy’s senior executive director of high voltage distribution. “We appreciate the patience of our customers while this upgrade takes place, and we’ll be working to complete it as safely and quickly as we can.”

Consumers Energy often schedules work like this overnight, when many people are asleep, to minimize disruptions to businesses or other activities.

Consumers Energy customers are encouraged to sign up for outage alerts at ConsumersEnergy.com/alerts to receive real‑time updates on their service.
