Child Guidance Resource Centers’ is currently working on its 2016-2017 strategic direction, which includes adjusting the implementation of Autism Fall Fest. Autism Fall Fest is a wonderful resource for the community and with 1500 attendees in its second year, the event demonstrated the great need for appropriate, welcoming environments created for children with a range of unique needs. However, as Autism Fall Fest has increased in size and breadth, we realize the need to seek a partner organization and alternative resources to fund, manage, and implement this event for our community. Autism Fall Fest will be postponed as we create a plan to best support the event either by identifying a partner or sculpting it to be sustainable within our means.

Child Guidance is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities to families through our clinical services and community work. If you are interested in becoming involved with Autism Fall Fest, or know of an organization that may be interested in the event, please email [email protected]. Our priority is your safety. Due to the increasingly worsening weather conditions, we have chosen to reschedule Autism Fall Fest to Saturday, October 17th. We'll offer the same unique and memorable day with horse therapy, arts and crafts, pony rides, music, Ask the Experts, resource fair, bamboo forest, nature trails, and delicious food and in much better weather! All tickets purchased will be honored for the rain date. Please spread the word with your friends and families to make sure everyone knows about the new date for this fantastic event! New at Autism Fall Fest this year: free Autism Spectrum Diagnosis screenings for children and toddlers at our Ask the Experts tent! In addition to a free screening, we will have experts in various fields to answer questions ranging from treatment to community programs to connecting with a parent whose child is on the spectrum. www.autismfallfest.org
