Come out to the Pottsville High School Football Field tomorrow at 6:00 PM for a night full of school spirit, friendly competition, and community fun!

Students will also be bringing the spirit with a Patriotic Night competition, so come ready to cheer, support our students, and see who brings the most school spirit!

⚠️ HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL FIELD NOTICE ⚠️

Due to the strong winds earlier today, one of the light poles at the high school softball field snapped and fell.

For everyone’s safety, we have placed caution tape around the area and are asking everyone to please stay clear of the field until further notice while we work to get everything safely cleaned up.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and will share an update once the area is safe to reopen.

The City of Pottsville will be gathering at the Galla Park Road overpass to honor WW2 Technician, Fifth Grade, William P. Keele, as his remains are transported to Fort Smith for burial. Tec 5 Keele was captured by the Japanese in the spring of 1942 and died in the Cabantaun POW Camp on July 16, 1942. The procession is scheduled to pass through Pottsville at 12:40 pm today. The public is welcome to help us honor Tec 5 Keele. ❤️
