It is with the heaviest, but also most hopeful heart that we are listing Ivyside Swim Club for sale. After years of exhausting all efforts through fundraising and donations, we had no choice but to close the doors. We want nothing more than a buyer to come in and restore our beautiful space and continue to be a place for community members, especially children and families to gather. Please share far and wide and send positive vibes out into the Pottsville community. We know there is a creative genius out there waiting for this opportunity 💙🌊☀️

Ivyside Swim Club will hold a Shareholder’s Meeting at the Yorkville Hose Company on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 5:30 pm. Please note that this meeting is for CURRENT Shareholders ONLY, and no one will be permitted to attend the meeting without proof of share ownership/maintenance. Please bring your original share certificate with you to the meeting. Official pool business will be conducted, and only valid shareholders will be admitted to the meeting. All shareholders must attend, as important decisions regarding the future of the pool will be made.

If you cannot find your certificate or are unsure if you are a CURRENT shareholder, please see the shareholder policy below. If you still need clarification, please message the Ivyside Swim Club page or contact any current member from the Board of Directors, and we can provide your shareholder status/valid certificate number for admittance to the meeting.

Per Ivyside Swim Club Bylaws,
Article III, Section 8:
To be considered in good standing, the shareholder must either have been a fully paid member in good standing within the last three summer seasons or have paid their $75 annual stockholder maintenance/assessment fee within the last three years. If neither of these conditions are met, the stock will revert back to the corporation for non-payment, and the former shareholder will not be entitled to any privileges of membership or shareholding.
