Terwilliger Family Legacy Fund for Charitable Endeavors presented a check for $2,100 today to the Wallkill Lions Club during their ribbon cutting ceremony to open the new ice skating rink at Popp Memorial Park. The gift was made in memory of Fred Terwilliger, a charter Lion member and avid ice skater, who taught us the importance of community service and being charitable. The gift will help purchase adaptive equipment to teach children with disabilities how to skate.

It’s . In memory of my brother, Bryan Terwilliger, our family nonprofit, Terwilliger Family Legacy Fund for Charitable Endeavors has made another generous donation to AFAP-HV/W, American Foundation for Su***de Prevention - Hudson Valley / Westchester. We have supported this organization with thousands of dollars in hopes of helping to save lives. In the past 5 weeks, 4 people have jumped from Mid-Hudson bridges. Please take time to learn the signs, please don’t be afraid to talk to someone who is struggling. Although it may be a “scary” topic, sometimes all it takes is just a MOMENT to INTERRUPT THAT TRAGIC THOUGHT💙.
