Power of Family, NY is holding a statewide Learning Collaborative in an
effort to provide NYS Office of Mental Health with information from all
across the state regarding the training that Family Peer Advocates need
to be effective in their role. The information we are looking for answers
the following questions:
Regarding the PEP certification training:
#1. What information in the PEP training is good as is and should remain
in the certification training?
#2. What is outdated in the PEP training where either the topic or the
ingredients need to be updated?
#3. What needs to be added to the PEP certification training? (Whats
missing?)
#4. What additional training should be offered to FPA’s regularly?
