Is to better our community for everyone who live in the city of Poughkeepsie

Our Mission

We are citizens who are unified by having the desire for improvement of the quality of life in the city by providing as

sistance to those in need, promoting community spirit and eliminating anti-social behavior by providing youth activities and recovering a sense of shared belonging. We also will initiate, sponsor and promote community events, which will affect the well being of all with an emphasis on education, health, business and community involvement.

Tonight is our Monthly Movie Night at the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center from 6-8pm! Watch this documentary about the discovery of the African Burial Grounds in lower Manhattan and learn about African American History in New York. Pizza, popcorn and light refreshments will be served. See you then!

Hello wonderful Poughkeepsie people! Don't forget this Wednesday, May 13th is our Monthly Movie Night 6:00-8:00pm at the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center located on 317 a Main Street. This month we will be showing the Interrupters. This documentary tells a story about three violence "interrupters" who do everything in their power to protect their communities from violence they once employed. A collaboration of The City of Poughkeepsie Multicultural Council and Community Voices Heard Poughkeepsie Chapter. Snacks and Refreshments will be served. This event is FREE and open to the public.
