🔨 Facility Friday Update!
Wolfle Elementary's summer construction is complete! ✅

🚪 The security vestibule is finished, an important safety improvement that ensures all visitors enter through the front office.

🚗 Vehicle and bus circulation improvements are complete, creating a smoother drop-off and pick-up experience.

🧑‍🦽 Sidewalk and pathway upgrades are finished, improving accessibility across the site.

🔒 Perimeter fencing and stormwater improvements are also complete, adding to the overall safety and security of the school.

KHS kicked off the fall sports season with Meet The Bucs last night ⭐️ A big thank you to the Kingston Grocery Outlet for their donation to KHS athletics, KHS Boosters for feeding and supporting our students in many ways, and all other staff, family, and community members who go out of their way to help our athletes. Ecology students at Kingston High School spent their second day of class in the forest! 🌲 Students moved through a series of stations along the nature path, reading information posted at each stop and working through their worksheets to learn about the history of Future Farmers of America. A pretty great way to start the school year if you ask us!

✨ CTE Highlight – Health Science ✨

In today's spotlight, we're featuring Medical Detectives at Poulsbo Middle School. After studying the anatomy of the human eye in class, students worked in small groups to dissect cow eyeballs — examining the structures up close and connecting what they observed to what they had learned. Cow eyes are similar enough to human eyes to make the comparison meaningful and hands-on.

This course, which has students collecting and analyzing medical data, interpreting vital signs, investigating disease outbreaks, and applying science and engineering design thinking to real-world health challenges, connects to the Health Science Career Cluster, helping students explore pathways in medicine, biomedical science, and healthcare.
