I apologize for not checking in much lately. All is well and we still have lots of great books that will be making their way to you soon. Hoping to get some time to spruce up the area, maybe add a few more plants and get rid of some weeds!

I’ll be taking a break from Facebook for awhile so if you don’t see any posts, just know I’m in the fields immersed in growing flowers and veggies and later in the season, I’ll be back!

Well, it finally happened! The kids library is back up and running — freshly painted and hopefully good to go for awhile. Probably in the fall or winter, we’ll take down the top library and refinish to match the kids box.

So now, all the grown-up books are in the top box and kids books down below. Nice to have more room again!

The cherry tree is looking so beautiful this year…hope you can stop by for a visit. Have a great day💜

Here’s a sneak peek for you! The kids library is coming along, slowly but surely🥰

Now that the inside is squared away, it is time to tackle the outside. The paint color matches our house—it was hard to decide on a color but pretty happy with it. And the good news is, the color can easily be changed in the future if needed.

Hoping to get this back up soon, we need the space for all the books!

Before the day is done, all of these books will be going in the library for you! One of our sweet neighbors, Barbara donated most all of these lovely books, plus many more. Since there were so many Cat-themed books — today is going to be all about Cats❣️ Enjoy them and enjoy your day.

P.S. The smaller kids library box is coming along. The inside was painted with Kilz to get rid of and prevent mold from re-appearing, and caulked. It is waiting for its second coat of glossy white interior paint. Once that’s done, the outside will get sanded and painted! Still trying to decide on the color so if you have any suggestions, send them our way!

Well, it was time again to do some maintenance on our kids library. It’s now at home, safe and sound awaiting some repair work. We’re hoping to have it completed by spring.

The weather has been hard on it. It needs caulking. It needs a good coat of Kilz to clean up the inside. A new light inside to replace the one that was there and went missing. It needs sanding and stain on the outside and then a really good all-weather topcoat.

So for now, the upper library will have grown-up books on the top shelf and kids books on the bottom. Gonna try real hard to keep it well stocked for you!

Good morning friends!

Trying to get our January Book of the Month in before the month is done😜
“Everything We Didn’t Say”, written by Nicole Baart in 2021.

Since it’s December 1st, all the books were emptied out (for later use and to share at other Little Free Libraries) and it’s filled with our Christmas Books❣️

Also added in our December Book of the Month, “Under the Whispering Door.” Hope you find something to read, and as soon as there is room lots more books will fill it right up again.

Good morning friends! It’s been way, way too long so now it’s time to get our monthly book highlight going again.

It’s been awhile since we’ve done any planting or weeding so today was the day. Added in some little Mums for Fall color, and hopefully soon pumpkins and other Fall decorations will be spotted. Did some trimming and weeding and watering … boy is the ground ever SO dry, praying for some much needed rain.

Added some rocks to the bucket….someone has been busy painting beautiful rocks and leaving them for you to enjoy and take.

Both the top and bottom libraries were packed full of books (thanks to our wonderful community) so books were pulled out to make room to see what’s there. As soon as space is available, the pulled books will get added back.

And had to share all the colors at Ross’ corner…little snippets here and there. Hoping you all enjoy it. 🧡💛🧡
