Arrr you ready, Poulsbo?! The Pacific Northwest Pirates Bash returns to Liberty Bay THIS WEEKEND, August 21st–23rd!! 🏴‍☠️

For more than 20 years, sailors, boaters, and pirate enthusiasts from around Puget Sound have gathered for this one-of-a-kind maritime tradition. The Port of Poulsbo will come alive with pirate ships and decorated boats, cannon fire echoing across Liberty Bay, dinghy races, treasure hunts through downtown, live music, dockside potlucks, and plenty of pirate shenanigans!🎶💥🚣‍♂️🗺️

What makes this weekend so special is that it isn't a giant commercial festival — it's a grassroots gathering of friends, sailors, and pirate enthusiasts who share a love for boating, community, and life on the water, and they're arriving by boat! 🏴‍☠️⚓️

Whether you want to dress like a pirate, stroll the waterfront, listen for the cannons, or simply enjoy the atmosphere around town, this is one community event you won't want to miss!

The Poulsbo Farmers Market is open August 8 (and every Saturday till December) from 10am–2pm next to the Gateway Fellowship Church at 18901 8th Ave NE.

Whether you're a boating enthusiast or simply looking for a fun way to spend the day, it's a great opportunity to stroll the docks, admire these classic vessels, and soak in the waterfront atmosphere!

Light Up Liberty Bay! ✨
This Independence Day weekend, help make Liberty Bay sparkle! Whether it's a string of lights, patriotic colors, or a fully decorated vessel, we'd love to see our boating community help create a festive waterfront for everyone enjoying Historic Downtown Poulsbo!

Don’t forget! The celebration in town will start off on Saturday, July 4th at 2pm with a rousing honking of boat horns!!

Tomorrow is the day!! If you're looking for a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate this Fourth of July, join us as we celebrate Independence Day in Historic Downtown Poulsbo!🌊

⚓Kicking things off at 2:00 PM with the honking of boat horns to start the opening ceremony📢 then settle in for the perfect summer picnic and an afternoon packed with fun!🌞

🎶 Summer Nights at the Bay kicks off with a special holiday concert from 2–6 p.m. at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park.
🍔 Poulsbo Lions Club will be serving burgers, hot dogs, chips and apple pie 🍉 Watermelon will be provided by the Viking Fest Co. 🍦and you can cool off with a classic root beer float in the park from the North Kitsap Senior Citizens Center!

🎈 Poulsbo Parks & Recreation Kid Zone will keep the little ones smiling with fun activities throughout the afternoon.
🎨 Enjoy free face painting from the Poulsbo Rotary Club, and bubbles from the Poulsbo Lions Club!

🌊 Take your turn at the Rotary Dunk Tank, featuring local community leaders.. Think you've got good aim? Stop by the Dunk Tank at 4:30 PM and help Port Commissioner Jay Lawrence practice his "man overboard" drills! 😎
