Honoring tonight retiring City Counselor Gary McVey at his last council meeting, some 235 gaveled sessions since leaving the Planning Commission - - and his very supportive wife Paula was there in the audience I bet for 200 of them! 😮‍💨😉

Thank you all the Department Heads who spent Tuesday helping to build our model ‘Accessory Dwelling Unit’ (ADU) off of the same permitted plan sets available now at little cost at all 4 cities and our county offices.

A work crew of City of Poulsbo Department Heads lent their hands today to help volunteer to erect the prefabricated walls of the new ADU designed caretakers house at Raab Park.

This demonstration of the new ‘cottage-style housing’ is a model of what the Blue Ribbon Commission on Affordable Workforce Housing Ownership is looking to build in 12 unit aggregated cottage-court mini-communities to give ownership opportunities to our young families and workers here in Poulsbo.

The Poulsbo BIG ANNUAL Kitsap Humane Society ‘PetsWALK’ , and as Mayor I hereby proclaim for today, the city is officially known this Saturday as … PAWS-BO !!!

Lots of dogs, some cats; and best considering the iffy weather - - it held off ‘raining dogs&cats’, right?! 😉

That’s us three judges positioned for the talent/costume/wiggle butt contests; yeah, but 🫣🤣
