🇳🇴 The five-state Son’s of Norway district 2 - - some 26 different Lodges - - and proudly hosted by Poulsbo Lodge 02-044, are descending on Little Norway at 4:pm Thursday to romp & pillage!
Here is a clip on the opening ceremonies this morning, I was privileged to greet and address. Be sure to welcome these some 150 delegates meeting here today if you encounter these civilized Vikings in our shops and on the waterfront 🇳🇴

🇺🇸 A Memorial Day Ceremony where the tears were provided by the heavens, where the ‘following seas’ were on the push of a cold front breeze, and our hearts and souls were on those who gave their all and lives to sustain our fragile Republic 🫡

Poulsbo is planning to contribute $21k to restore a community Independence Day festival for the first time for the city since 2019, now on July 4. See link below ⬇️

For me and my fellow marchers under the City of Poulsbo flag we carried, including Kitsap County Commissioners Katie Beaton Walters & Oran Root, and my co-flag carrier Councilman Rick Eckert, the BEST PART OF THE PARADE and we being in the front, was diverting 😉 the first five marching bands up off of Front Street onto the lawn area of Martha&Mary Nursing and Rehab residential area veranda and having EACH BAND serenade our very senior residents who SO-OOO appreciated the entertainment and attention, all our hearts 💕 swelled with Norwegian 🇳🇴 and good ol’ American Pride 🇺🇸
