🦅Calling all lovers of local history! 📜You won't want to miss this!

Thursday night in person at Pound Ridge Library - join us for “It Happened in Westchester County: Revolutionary Places and Stories in the McDonald Interviews,” a fascinating look at local sites connected to the Revolutionary War.

Through firsthand accounts gathered between 1844 and 1851 from eyewitnesses who lived through the war, Patrick Raftery, WCHS Associate Director and Librarian, will share stories of dramatic military activity and the daily struggles that unfolded right here in Westchester County.

This presentation is part of the Library’s special events commemorating our nation’s 250th anniversary.

Join us for a very special concert celebrating the rich, diverse sounds that helped shape American music.

Pianist and educator Pete Malinverni and acclaimed young vocalist Anaïs Reno will explore the Great American Songbook, including spirituals and the music of Gershwin, Ellington, Rodgers & Hart, and more.

Created in large part by immigrants, children of immigrants, and descendants of enslaved people, this music reflects the many voices, histories, and traditions that make America what it is.
