Important Storm-Related Information from the Town of Pound Ridge--9am

Good morning everyone! We hope everything will be resolved by the end of the day today, but here is some important information to get you through the day.

POWER UPDATE-We have been in touch with the local supervisor. He expects power to be restored this afternoon by end of business day at the latest. If you see your neighbors have power and you don't, please call the the Pound Ridge Police Department at 914-764-4206.

SHOWERS--The Pound Ridge Pool House is open for showers.

WATER/DRY ICE--Water an Dry Ice will be available in the parking lot of the Town House at 10am. First come, first serve.

CHARGING PHONES--The Pound Ridge Library is open for phone charging and Wi-Fi.

Important Storm-Related Information from the Town of Pound Ridge--9pm Update

The lights are on for Saddle Ridge/Honey Hollow. We are still waiting for NYSEG to publish a restoration target for the rest of Pound Ridge.

The Pound Ridge Pool House will open at 8am tomorrow (Thursday) for showers.

****Important Storm-Related Information from the Town of Pound Ridge--5pm update

Supervisor Hansan and Chief Ryan participated in NYSEG’s recent municipal update call. While we anticipated power restoration by tonight, it looks like the soonest that power will be restored is tomorrow.

The Long Ridge Road area is out due to significant infrastructure damage in Bedford. Honey Hollow/Saddle Ridge Road area should plan for a potential multiple day outage due to significant infrastructure damage in Lewisboro and areas North.

The Pound Ridge Police Department phones will be manned 24 hours until power is restored. We will continue to update you as we learn more. If you have additional questions or need assistance please call the Pound Ridge Police Department (914-764-4206).

***Important Storm-Related Information from the Town of Pound Ridge***

We hope you are all safe and sound from last night's storm. Thankfully, Pound Ridge was spared any significant damage. We do have some residents who lost power. Town Supervisor Hansan and Chief Ryan are in constant contact with NYSEG. Right now the estimate for restoration is sometime around dusk. We will update you as if we get more information.

Important Storm-Related Information from the Town of Pound Ridge

*** Here we go again--we are preparing for storm #4 in less than a month! There is a winter storm warning in effect from midnight tonight to 8am on Thursday with significant snowfall predicted which may be accompanied by high wind gusts. We will do our best to share information with you as we get it.

Supervisor Hansan has been on the phone with State and County officials today to be sure we are prepared. Supervisor Hansan and Chief Ryan participated in a call with NYSEG today which has dedicated a line crew and a tree crew that is expected to arrive in Pound Ridge around 9am tomorrow morning. These crews will be ready to "Make Safe" which means clear wires that are down and/or live in order to open roads. Restoration crews will follow once the roads are safe and passable.

BE PREPARED: Please be sure you have reserve water, batteries, charge your cell phones, and fuel up your generators.

Important Storm-Related Information from the Town of Pound Ridge

*** Power is expected to be restored in the next couple of hours to the business district. This storm has been very difficult for many of our small business owners. Please shop and dine local! Let's show our love for the great businesses in town!

NYSEG UPDATE: NYSEG is in full restoration mode. It is expected that 90% of the town will have power restored by the end of the day. NYSEG crews are currently working on the line that feeds the business district. Please be assured that the Pound Ridge Police, maintenance and highway departments will not stop their efforts until the last house has power!

PULLED WIRES FROM HOUSE: If you have wires that have pulled off your house, please call an electrician today and call the Pound Ridge Police Department (914-764-4206) to coordinate power restoration with NYSEG.

ROAD CLOSURES: 23 roads remain closed. It is expected that by the end of the day all roads will be fully open and plowed. The most recent list of road closures is up on the town website on home page Click Here.

BUSINESS DISTRICT: It was a fun night at Northstar! Packed crowd ate grill dinner by candlelight and listened to an amazing acoustic guitar player. Thank you Dave and everyone who came out to support Northstar. We expect power to be restored to business district shortly.

Dinardos is open! Phone is down but orders can be placed by calling 914-233-6708.
Asia Hamachi is open and delivering! Open until 9pm tonight.
La Familia is open normal business hours. Cash only.

FOX LANE HIGH SCHOOL OPEN AS WARMING CENTER--If you need to get warm or charge your phone, the Fox Lane High School is open today. The town house is staffed and open for business. The library will be open regular hours.

DRY ICE/BOTTLED WATER--A fresh shipment of dry ice and bottled water is available at the library, by the side door.

EMERGENCIES--Call 911

LOST & FOUND--Kids purple jacket was left at the town house. Let us know if it is you child's and we will put your name on it and hold it until you can come get it.
